Bianca Williams

Bianca grew up in Brewarrina in North West NSW and is passionate about celebrating and sharing Indigenous culture. She believes strongly in the value of community outreach and has spent years working to encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to pursue tertiary education. Throughout her professional career Bianca has worked with a number of nationally recognised initiatives, programmes and institutions including The Aboriginal Housing Office, the Gadigal Information Service, and The University of Sydney.

Bianca has also had a successful career as a performer. In 2017 she began dancing regularly with the Sydney based Jannawi Dance Clan and has performed at a number of prestigious events. Performing highlights include: Homeground (Sydney Opera House) 2017, Artstate NSW Opening Ceremony 2017, Boomerang Festival 2018 (Byron Bay Blues Fest), Warami celebrations for City of Parramatta 2019, and The National Indigenous Art Fair 2019.
