Dub Leffler

Descended from the Bigambul people of South-West Queensland, Dub Leffler is a celebrated author and illustrator of children’s literature. His picture book Once There Was a Boy which Dub both wrote and illustrated has received international recognition and a copy is now housed in The Library of Congress in the USA. Dub’s more recent work includes illustrating the book Sorry Day (written by Coral Vass) which went on to win the 2019 Eve Pownall Award from the Children’s Book Council of Australia.

Having visited some of the most amazing places throughout Australia and the world Dub has enjoyed the opportunity to teach illustration workshops everywhere from Scotland to the Tiwi Islands. He has collaborated with other celebrated illustrators and artists including Shaun Tan, Sally Morgan and Banksy.
